Do not Judge peoples

Sitting at the airport terminal, waiting for my connecting flight, I observe hundreds of people passing by. They vary in height, weight, skin color, gender, and facial features. No two individuals look alike, and even their walking styles differ. I can’t help but exclaim, “Subhan Allah! Who else can create such diversity?” Allah Tabarak Taala is the sole and supreme creator. He has sent down countless children into this world, each with a unique face. This process has been ongoing since the creation of the universe.

When a child is born, the mother gazes at their face and exclaims, “This is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen in my life.” She can’t find any flaws in the child and becomes furious if anyone criticizes them. Similarly, when Allah created his servants, He looked at each one and declared, “This is the perfect creation of mine, and I send it to the world.”

Now, let’s consider who we are to judge anyone based on their appearance, whether they are dark or fair, tall or short. How can we point our fingers at Allah’s creation and judge them? If a mother gets irritated and angry when someone speaks ill of her child, imagine how much Allah is enraged when we criticize His creations. He loves each of us more than 70 mothers.

Allah said in Surah Al-Hujrat verse 11:

O believers! Do not let some men’ ridicule
others, they may be better than them, nor let some’ women ridicule other women, they may be better than them. Do not defame one another, nor call each other by offensive nicknames. How evil it is to act rebellious after having faith! And whoever does not repent, it is they who are the ‘true’ wrongdoers.

Before you judge anyone, remember that when you point a finger at someone, the other fingers are pointing at you.
