Alhamdulillah, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in Dawah for the first time on World Hijab Day. It was such a powerful experience to stand with my sisters, united as one Ummah, supporting a cause that reflects our identity and fulfills our purpose as Muslims.
One moment that deeply touched my heart was when I noticed an elderly man observing us from a distance. He seemed restless, but after a while, he gathered the courage to approach us. His curiosity about our religion was evident. He asked sincere questions about Islam, particularly about the Hijab—the story behind it and the strength it symbolizes for Muslim women. SubhanAllah, his hands trembled as he spoke. Though he was a practicing Catholic and hesitant to touch the Quran or take any materials from us, his eagerness to learn about Islam was truly heartwarming.
Another beautiful part of the day was witnessing women who had never worn the Hijab before. When they tried it on for the first time, many of them instantly felt a connection and fell in love with it. Subhan Allah, seeing their faces light up was a reminder of how powerful and beautiful our faith is.
Can anyone know the creation better than the Creator? Of course not. Allah knows what’s best for us, and embracing that truth fills our hearts with strength and tranquility. Alhamdulillah for this unforgettable experience that not only strengthened my own faith but also allowed me to share the beauty of Islam with others.
