The story of love continues…
It was the day of Eid , a usual hot and humid day in Madinah. Despite the harsh weather people were continuously gathering in masjid e Nabawi unit it was full to its capacity. Everyone was excited and happy.
An occasional cool breeze helped dry up the sweat from the brows of the companions and added a brief refreshment to the anticipated mood of the people gathered in Masjid e Nabawi.
Ayesha, the young wife of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), was still a carefree girl at heart. She loved playing with dolls, singing songs with friends, and occasionally enjoying running and beating the prophet in a race or sharing stories with prophet. Occasionally, she’d even forget the household chores, like preparing meals, getting his clothes ready etc.
Despite her childish interests, the Prophet never scolded Ayesha. Never did he rebuke her for any negligence. It was no doubt his patience and understanding that helped Ayesha become a confident, strong and empowered woman.
But today was a different day for whole Madinah. Everyone was excited about the news of some acrobats master of spear and shields visiting Madinah from a far-off land. Excitement filled the whole air. A talent show was arranged at Masjid-e-Nabawi, the heart of the Muslim community. Wait…A talent show in Masjid e Nabawi? Yes, what other place could it be other than Masjid e Nabawi?? The hub of the Muslim society. People used to gather there not only for prayers but for latest revelations from Allah SWT , the short reminders from the prophet, a brief rest after a tiring day, and of course to grab a handful of free dates hanging from the makeshift roof of Masjid, made of palm tree branches layered with mud.
The whole community eagerly anticipated the show. A break from Madinah’s intense atmosphere, where vigilance and readiness were constant due to looming threats, was welcome.
As the crowd gathered, Ayesha’s could hear the noise and sound of laughter coming from the masjid in her chamber. Curious she tried to peek out from behind the door curtain.
The Prophet suddenly realized that Ayesha would love to see the show too.
He left his companions and returned to see her. On reaching home he noticed her enthusiasm and smiled. “Today, we’ll enjoy a moment of joy together,” he said.
As the show began, Aisha sat behind the Prophet, resting her chin on the shoulder of her husband, mesmerized by the performers. For a brief moment, the worries of the world faded away.

(In this are lessons for the people of intellect)
In this episode of entertainment and the tender scene between a husband and wife, we see:
1. A husband’s loving patience with his wife and her childish nature.
2. The community’s need for leisure and entertainment.
3. The mosque’s role as a hub for diverse activities.
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to my house when two girls were beside me singing songs of Bu’ath. The Prophet laid down and turned his face to the other side. Then, Abu Bakr came in and spoke to me harshly, saying, “Musical instruments of Satan near the Prophet?” The Prophet turned his face toward him and he said, “Leave them alone.” When Abu Bakr became inattentive, I signaled to the girls and they left. It was the day of Eid and the Abyssinians were playing with shields and spears. Either I asked the Prophet or he asked me whether I would like to watch and I said yes. Then the Prophet made me stand behind him while my cheek was touching his cheek and the Prophet was saying, “Carry on, O tribe of Arfidah.” I became tired and the Prophet asked me, “Are you satisfied?” I said yes, so I left.
