Hijab

By: Umme Ebaad

From: Milton

Verily a symbol of beauty and grace,
The hijab, a scarf upon her face.
A representation of faith and devotion,
A sign of modest and pure emotion.

A garment that tells the world she’s proud,
Of her beliefs and her culture, unbound.
A declaration of her independence,
Her hijab, a symbol of confidence.

With every step and every stride,
She shows the world she’s on her own side.
Her hijab, a source of inspiration,
For all those who seek empowerment.

For she knows her worth, beyond the veil,
Her hijab, a symbol of her soul trail.
Her strength, her courage, and her grace,
Forever shining, with elegance and pace.

Oh hijab, how you symbolize,
The beauty and strength that lies within
