Focus more on my inner self

With regards to Ramadan reminders, (talks, ideas sharing,) that usually lead to a healthy competition and motivate ourselves to do more, is not a bad idea. It’s also beneficial for many to learn the same old traditional tips in modern ways. We all learn something from them.

However, I personally feel like I need to be able to focus more on my inner self with whatever helps me in developing a true connection with Allah SWT. If all the tips and talks add to the noise that keeps distracting me from this inner connection, then I’ll try to refrain from them.

Mindfulness خشوع Is the essence of every ibadah as the main aim is to help us build the true connection with Allah without any interference, whether from people or things. If we think more about people doing this and that, then we lose the true essence.

Especially, In our times, with increasing distractions, we’re somehow able make efforts to engage our bodies into ibaadat, however, our minds are Always preoccupied with countless distractions.

Khusoo which is the spiritual state and taqwa which is the action state of mindfulness is all about emptying our bodies and hearts of every distraction that takes away our focus from Allah SWT and making space for the remembrance of Allah only.

I pray that the whole exercise of Ramadan help us achieve this state of للہیت Which eventually brings tranquility. Ameen
